GIC Emission Control, Inc. has been helping the people of San Jose keep their cars running smoothly and efficiently since it was established in 1985. Owner Alan Yu, has been an automotive technician for 15 years, and the owner of GIC for 2.5 years. Alan heads up a team of experienced, professional, ASE Certified technicians who will treat your car as if it’s their own. GIC Emission Control, Inc. has two smog machines at their shop, making them extremely fast and efficient for customers in a hurry. They also keep their shop equipped with the most up-to-date computers, tools and other equipment.

GIC Emission Control is proud to be a California State Certified Gold Shield Smog Station. They can test, repair and certify all vehicles including: test only, gross polluters, out of state, biennial, change of ownership. Alan and his team know that your car is a big investment, which is why they make sure they’re prepared for any issue you come to them with. Their goal is for you to always feel comfortable bringing your car to them.

It’s no secret that vehicles can be a hassle, but Alan and his team at GIC Emission Control, Inc. pride themselves in creating a fast, accurate, consistent car care experience for all of their customers.
