Area families from his
Palo Alto practice since 1978. The quaint Alma
Street building is in a quiet, peaceful area
populated more by doves and squirrels
than by motorists. Dr. Armistead’s predecessor
practiced in the same building for a quarter century
before retiring, so this family-oriented practice
has been a long-standing fixture in Palo Alto.
Dr. Armistead specializes in general dentistry for
older children and adults. He provides a wide
range of preventive, restorative and cosmetic dental
procedures. Dr. Armistead is also a specialist in
treating sleep apnea through the use of external
oral appliances. The homey, personal-feeling office
has private rooms and a relaxed and family-like
atmosphere. Sally, the office manager, is always
available to assist patients with scheduling routine
or emergency care. Hygienists Judi, Nancy and
Christina will keep patients’ teeth clean and
healthy in between dental visits. They welcome
new patients—give them a call or stop by for a
quick tour of the office.
