Prime Time Athletic club has been keeping San Mateo residents healthy and fit since 1979. The privately owned, family-operated business is currently one of the top 100 fitness clubs in North America and is ranked 11th in the Bay Area.

Extending over six acres, the club offers more than 100,000 square-feet of amenities that include two heated swimming pools, complete fitness and cardiovascular training centers and multiple courts for tennis, squash, racquetball and basketball. Over 500 group exercise classes are offered each month in one of five studios. You can get a great workout then relax and unwind in luxurious steam rooms, saunas and jacuzzis. If your workout gives you an appetite, enjoy a meal at Café Sport.

The fitness team is on hand to help you achieve your fitness, nutrition and weight goals with individualized training and counseling. Staff also includes a podiatrist and chiropractor (available by appointment). The family-oriented facility offers its members an expanded child-care center, free kids karate classes and summer camps. Children between the ages of 10 and 14 may enroll in supervised fitness programs designed especially for kids to workout in the fitness center with their parents.
