Dean Knecht comes from a family of painters. He’s a 6th generation painter, three generations from Germany and three generations in the United States. He grew up learning painting from his grandfather and his dad. They taught him a lot of the old school trade, just a brush and roller.

He knows the latest products and combines that with the long family tradition of doing it right. If you’ve ever tried your own painting, you may have learned afterward how important the prep was. Dean has always known this and it is the basis of him getting the job done right and making it last.

“The finish is only as good as the prep. For example, we strip peel areas on wood the traditional way using a heat gun. This makes for a smooth finish and a longer lasing job.”
