Gerry Callanan’s career began at age fourteen with an apprenticeship position in his native Ireland. He moved to the United States in 1985 and added to his experience working for various companies and contractors. He saw a real need to provide quality craftsmanship and knew that to do that he’d need to be his own boss. In 1990 Mr. Callanan established Callanan Plastering and gradually expanded his client base to include the entire San Francisco Bay Area.

Callanan Plastering specializes in stucco, plastering, resurfacing and exterior waterproofing. They can take a tired old building and make it look like new with a variety of techniques that range from basic plastering to works of stucco art. Decorative surfaces and accents can be applied to both interior and exterior surfaces. The Callanan crew practices old-world craftsmanship and believes in providing a positive experience for every customer. They’ll see the job through from start to finish without missing a single detail.

We will take the time and effort to propose what we think will work best for each job, and will come up with different options when necessary to get a quality job done to suit each customer’s needs. Also, our crew is respectful and they make sure the job site is tidy at the end of each day.”
