SDI Insulation is a full-service insulation contractor with over three decades experience working residential and commercial projects. Steve De Lorenzi has been in the construction industry for 37 years. Much of that time has been spent finding ways to conserve energy and improve comfort via proper use of insulating materials. Steve’s environmental concerns have encouraged him to ‘go green.’ His vision for SDI Insulation includes becoming California’s leader in ‘green building’ applications.

You probably don’t give much thought to your home’s insulation. But you’d sure notice if it wasn’t there. The fact that it keeps your environment more comfortable is just the beginning. Along with its thermal performance, insulation reduces the cost of utility bills, lessens noise and helps prevent mold and mildew caused by moisture accumulation. It can also have an effect on air sealing and airflow, thus maintaining indoor air quality.

There are many types of insulation and many applications. SDI works with fiberglass batt insulation, loose-fill fiberglass, cellulose insulation and spray foam. They’re California’s only licensed dealer of the Icynene Spray Foam Insulation System and are also a Certified Blown-In-Blanket System contractor. SDI would be happy to evaluate your current situation and recommend the most beneficial type and amount of insulation.
