Owner Hans Art

Hans Art started his career as a one-man Volkswagen repair business back in 1970. Over the years he has expanded his expertise and today is experienced in the repair and maintenance of most German, Swedish, Japanese and newer American cars and trucks.

He has brought together and trained a talented staff of technicians and customer-oriented service advisors. His office manager, Sophia, has been there since 1995, and his shop foreman, Henry, has been there since 1988. Together they provide the kind of continuity and quality customer service that has earned them a very loyal following.

Hans Art Automotive is AAA Approved, has won “Best of the Bay” from the S.F. Bay Guardian, as well as receiving high ratings from “Consumer Check Book” and the Better Business Bureau.

COMPANY PHILOSOPHY
“We fix cars, and we do it right! Our customers want value and convenience. Good maintenance and repair costs one-forth of a monthly car payment. If you keep your car more than ten years, you can save more than ten thousand dollars of transportation expense. We schedule by appointment, send service reminders, arrange fast, discounted rental cars—we know our customers depend on their cars!
