The Loss Prevention Group (LPG) provides comprehensive security, training, mobile live scan, and ink fingerprinting services for homeowners and businesses throughout the Greater Bay Area. Established in 2005, the Oakland-based company specializes in corporate security measures, retail loss prevention and residential security.

LPG’s executive and management teams have been actively involved in law enforcement, corporate security and loss prevention for a combined 70 years. They’re experienced in maintaining the security of retail stores, office complexes, tenant communities, and other residential and commercial facilities. The company’s Security Division can uncover gaps in a business’ security system, help business owners incorporate short- and long-term loss prevention measures, and deploy well-trained security professionals to a property.

LPG also offers Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Guard Training Courses for new recruits and experienced officers seeking advanced training. Included in the BSIS program are advanced and elective training courses sanctioned by the State of California, including Pepper Spray, Handcuffing, CPR/AED, and Basic First Aid Training classes. LPG also provides both in-office and mobile Live Scan Fingerprinting, which uses digital technology to screen applicants rapidly and accurately.
