Tegan Flooring installs, refinishes and repairs hardwood flooring for homeowners and gen­eral contractors in Alameda County and San Francisco. The family-owned and operated company emphasizes renewable resources such as cork, bamboo, marmoleum and other environmentally-certified products. It’s also known for using the Cyclonic HEPA-filtered Dust Containment Sanding System for all sanding and finishing work—when used with low-VOC finishes, it can enhance air quality and minimize chemical sensitivity for workers and clients alike.

As an installation company, Tegan Flooring helps clients select products that best fit their aesthet­ics and site conditions. “Site specifics can limit suitability of some materials,” says Project Manager Cynthia Soito, “so it’s our goal to provide guidance for our clients by bringing budget concerns together with their projects’ aesthetic and technical specifics.”
