Simpson Roofing Service is a general roofing contractor that serves residential clients throughout the San Francisco Peninsula. The company provides complete roof construction, reroofing and waterproofing services, and it can work with a variety of roofing materials, including wood, slate, clay, shake and composition. It also installs gutters, drainage systems and skylights.
Owner Mark Simpson spent several years teaching biology and chemistry before moving to the Bay Area and rekindling his childhood passion for roofing. After working as a roofing estimator for a construction firm, Mr. Simpson established Simpson Roofing Service with the goal of bringing his 40 years of industry experience to every job. He’s joined by a staff that includes two Master Roofers and several journeymen roofers with decades of experience.
Simpson Roofing Service prides itself on its project coordination skills and ability to communicate effectively with its clients. “We have to manage several different aspects during each job,” explains Mr. Simpson. “From the building department to the distributors to the demolition people…it can be challenging, but that’s where we excel.” The company can also obtain building permits to facilitate the construction process for its clients.

We listen to our clients, communicate with them throughout their projects and follow up afterward to make sure they’re satisfied. We enjoy educating them about all their options, and we make sure they have positive, enjoyable experiences.”
