RFJ Meiswinkel provides a wide range of plaster and drywall services for residential and commercial clients throughout the Bay Area. The company’s main focus is restoring and recreating fine interior and exterior finishes, from low-sheen plaster to more pronounced variations of color. Its commercial capabilities include light gauge metal framing, lathing, installing gypsum wallboard systems, spray fireproofing and more.

Owner and second-generation plasterer Joe Meiswinkel says he and his dedicated craftsmen have perfected their techniques to meet their clients’ most demanding specifications. “We combine old-world methods with state-of-the-art technology and materials to provide restoration finishing work for all types of buildings and properties.”

RFJ Meiswinkel has been commissioned to restore many buildings and homes that are listed in the National Trust for Historic Preservation, including the esteemed Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.
