Renovations owner Warren Kaufman began in the construction industry in 1960. Mr. Kaufman honed his skills as a journeyman carpenter and then in 1971 founded Renovations. Since the 1980s, Mr. Kaufman and his team have created the unique niche of design and remodeling for people who are living in their homes at the time. The Renovations team consists of professionals in all aspects of the trades. Having worked together for many years, they consider themselves a onestop shop, from the initial design, to handling all governmental agencies and negotiations, to the completion of the remodeling project. There's no need to contract with multiple companies because Renovations takes pride in full phase residential design and remodeling. The client is invited and encouraged to be involved in their design and remodeling project. It is this close interaction that makes it possible for every client to "feel the excitement of getting something special."

Renovations is NARI certified and was the first company in Carmel Valley to achieve "Green Business" status. Named one of the Top 50 Remodelers in the United States by Remodeling Magazine, Mr. Kaufman is also a founding officer of the Monterey Chapter of the NARI.
