Pacific Smog has done business from the same Seaside location since 1991. Ken Ashton is the second owner. He acquired the business in 2001 and has carried on the traditions of quality and service instilled by the company's founder. He heads a team of ASC Certified Technicians who provide quick and reliable smog testing for customers in Monterey and San Benito Counties - and beyond. Pacific performs testing on all types of vehicles - those privately owned and those belonging to city, county and state organizations. Since they rarely perform emissions-related repair, you don't have to worry about their evaluation being biased. And because they devote most of their time to the testing process, you never need to make an appointment - just drive in when it's convenient. Three testing machines operate at all times, so Pacific Smog can usually have your car ready in thirty minutes or less.
