Mr. Fixit Inc. provides a variety of home repair services for clients in San Rafael and its surrounding communities. In addition to handling small- to mid-sized home improvement jobs, the company is qualified to remodel kitchens and bathrooms; build room additions; install plumbing and electrical systems; and offer painting, sheetrock, and tile and stone services.

Owner Chuck Eisenhower established Mr. Fixit exclusively as a handyman firm, but his desire to expand his services led him to obtain a general contractor’s license and start working on Marin County remodeling projects. Mr. Eisenhower says he takes pride in cultivating lasting relationships with his clients. “We strive to make them feel comfortable throughout the process. We’ve found that one of the best ways to build trust is to start off with small repairs, like changing light bulbs, and work our way to larger jobs.”

Mr. Fixit’s employees have been with the firm for several years and have a wide range of home improvement skills. “Each of our technicians has a specialty,” confirms Mr. Eisenhower. “They work with respect for our customers’ homes and belongings, and they always leave worksites clean.”

A: "No, not usually. We hold a general contractor’s license, as well as plumbing and electrical licenses, so we can do almost everything in-house. Everyone who works on your house will be one of our employees."

A: "That depends on our workload at the moment and the size of the job. But typically, it takes us seven to 10 days to get started on a new project."
