Moore Mechanical, Inc. designs and installs complete climate control systems for residential and commercial clients in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. In addition to heat pumps, furnaces and air conditioners, the company provides a variety of indoor air quality products, including humidifiers, carbon monoxide alarms, air filtration systems and ventilators.

Owner Stephen Moore established Moore Mechanical in 1985 to bring a customer-focused approach to the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. Mr. Moore says he takes pride in employing family-friendly HVAC technicians who conduct themselves professionally, politely, and with respect for customers and their homes. “We aim to find and keep clients for life, so we’re extremely responsive and communicative to their needs.”

Moore Mechanical takes a “whole home” approach to its HVAC services—it looks at properties as singular systems and determines the best climate control options. The company starts each job with an initial consultation, during which a representative spends several hours in the customer’s home conducting an extensive diagnostic work-up. “Our consultations ensure our initial quotes are accurate and comprehensive,” says Mr. Moore.
