Joe Milani is a veteran of the auto body industry.

Novato-based auto body shop Milani’s Autocraft provides complete auto body repair, painting, and unibody and frame repair. The company is outfitted with highly specialized, constantly updated equipment, such as a Star Liner dedicated frame rack, a Data Liner laser measuring system and a pressurized downdraft baking booth. It works with all insurance companies and offers mobile estimates, free computerized estimates, and complimentary pick-up and delivery.

Owner Joe Milani has worked in the auto body trade since age 20. His love for working on classic cars gradually evolved into a full-time vocation, and he established Milani’s Autocraft in 1990. “Everybody here cares about and likes automobiles,” he says. “That’s why we got into this trade.”

Milani’s Autocraft takes an environmentally friendly approach to painting—it uses the latest waterborne technology from PPG, a premium refinishing system. When used to repair vehicles, PPG waterborne products reduce solvent emissions, resulting in cleaner air.
