Mayer and Company is a general building contractor that provides new construction, remodeling and renovation services for residential clients throughout Marin County. In addition to working on kitchens, bathrooms and whole homes, the family-owned and operated company builds custom decks and fences and offers earthquake strengthening services. Its remediation department is able to correct construction issues that include water intrusion, faulty craftsmanship, code violations and problems caused by incompatible building materials.

Owner Kenneth Mayer has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He established Mayer and Company to bring his passion for fine craftsmanship and outstanding customer care to Bay Area construction projects of all sizes. “Trust is integral to every part of our process,” says Mr. Mayer. “Our team is committed to each project from beginning to end.”

Mayer and Company is also an environmentally-friendly company—it recycles all its unused materials, from beverage containers to extra lengths of wood, and it promotes energy-efficient, Green building methods whenever possible.
