Marin Cleaners, Inc. provides dry cleaning, laundry and clothing alteration services for clients throughout Marin County, San Francisco and the Napa Valley. The company’s garment care process includes inspection, stain removal, cleaning, repair and packaging, and it uses state-of-the-art technology and eco-friendly cleaning to remove dirt and everyday odors from a variety of fabrics.
Marin Cleaners has been owned and operated by the Casassa family since they established its first San Rafael location in 1951. Today, the company has four retail locations in Marin County and offers free pickup and delivery service throughout San Francisco and the North Bay. Co-owner Gary Casassa says Marin Cleaner’s longevity is important to its customers. “They know they can trust us, because we wouldn’t have lasted this long if we didn’t take good care of them.”
In addition to its regular dry and wet cleaning services, Marin Cleaners renovates pillows and cares for bridal and couture clothing. It also cleans area rugs, table and bed linens, and household items such as blankets, bedspreads and sleeping bags. The company employs two professional seamstresses to repair a multitude of problems, from torn pockets and broken zippers to tapering and lengthening.
