Owner Guy Lee founded LPC Enterprises in 2001.

LPC Enterprises installs, repairs and refinishes hardwood floors for residential clients in San Mateo County. As an alternative to traditional sanding and refinishing, the company offers the “Rx for Wood Floors” no-sanding process, which chemically cleans and abrades a floor’s existing finish before the new finish is applied. “The entire process takes less than half as long as sanding—and costs significantly less,” says owner Guy Lee.

Mr. Lee established LPC Enterprises in 2001 after spending many years in the forest products industry. He says his personal experience with Rx for Wood Floors made him want to supply it for projects of every size. “Since we started, we’ve installed and refinished more than 1,000 homes and businesses. We’re fully equipped to handle whatever work needs to be done.”

LPC Enterprises can also repair and replace floor parts that are too damaged to accept the topcoat that’s applied during the Rx for Wood Floors process. If a customer’s floor isn’t able to handle the system, the company can provide traditional sanding services that are designed to minimize dust. It can also smooth out warped boards; remove scratches; and protect floors with a durable, low-odor, catalyzed, environmentallyfriendly polyurethane finish.
