Founded in 1990 by Jim Szewczak, JS General Construction is a licensed general contractor specializing in decks. Jim has more than 25 years of construction experience and, with his crews, has built hundreds of great decks all over the Bay Area.
Over the years JS has developed knowledge and expertise and his crews are instructed and trained in the most suitable methods for working with tools and materials to achieve the highest levels of quality and efficiency in their finished projects.
JS General Construction uses only high quality materials including exotic hardwoods such as IPE and Brazilian Redwood and a variety of composites such as CorrectDeck & Trex. They have a general knowledge of all the building trades so if the scope of work extends beyond the deck, they can accommodate your needs.
