HPS Palo Alto, Inc. provides a wide range of home repair and preventive maintenance services for savvy homeowners up and down the Peninsula. The company’s comprehensive PlanetHome Concierge program bundles 260 service tasks and inspections that are designed to maintain clients’ homes, reduce their energy usage, preempt costly repairs, arrest property deterioration and ensure the highest equity values.

Builder Steve Spratt established the PlanetHome Concierge program in 1995 to offer his past customers ongoing home care services. “His earliest clients wouldn’t let him move on to new client projects without promising to maintain his work and build on the valued and trusted relationships he’d developed with them,” explains General Manager Mike Ellerin. “PlanetHome Concierge was the answer to his clients’ needs.”

HPS Palo Alto identifies 260 chores that are crucial to the proper function and long life of each customer’s home, and its technicians—specially trained across multiple trades—perform these specific services and inspections. When specialized repairs or improvements are needed, the company’s proven Peninsula partners perform the work. “Our goal is to help our clients navigate today’s complex world of home ownership, repair, maintenance, remodeling and improvement,” says Mr. Ellerin.
