The Ghilotti Bros., Inc., general engineering contracting firm, has been improving private and commercial sites, state and county sites, throughout the North Bay Area for over 96 years. Founded in 1914 by Italian immigrant James Ghilotti, the company is in its third generation of family ownership. Current owners Michael and Dante Ghilotti are proud to head what is now a multi-million dollar company and one of the largest employers of construction personnel in Northern California. Ghilotti Bros., Inc. works on small and large projects that include grading, underground utilities, concrete and asphalt paving and site demolition. Though they are a large company, they retain a small-company perspective and have personnel dedicated to giving every client the individual attention they deserve. Just as their roots began locally in San Rafael in 1914, this company continues to retain the perspective to focus on the local residents. Whether they are putting in a patio, laying concrete sidewalks for a city or paving the runways for a major airport, they approach the job with the same consideration and work ethic.
