Daniel B. Armistead, DDS is a Palo Alto-based dental practice that provides general dentistry services for adults and older children. It offers a wide range of preventive, restorative and cosmetic dental procedures, including hygiene cleanings, fillings, mouth guards, teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, bonding, crowns, bridges, root canals, tooth extractions, and removable and partial dentures. Dr. Armistead is also a specialist in treating sleep apnea and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) syndrome.

Dr. Armistead has been treating Bay Area families from the same location since 1978. His predecessor practiced in the same building for more than 25 years before retiring, so the dental complex has been a longstanding fixture for Palo Alto residents. Dr. Armistead keeps his skills current through ongoing study and participation in dental and scientific classes. He’s also an active member of the Peninsula Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the American Association for Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Armistead’s practice accepts most major dental insurance plans, provides free consultations for its customized oral health programs, and offers senior citizen discounts.
