Cummins Construction
Colette Cummins founded Cummins Construction in 2003 after spending seven years working in the trades in San Francisco. Ms. Cummins comes from a large family of builders and farmers in her native Ireland and studied business management in Dublin, which she says helps her promote a collaborative building approach that focuses on clear communication between subcontractors, designers/architects, inspectors and clients.
Cummins Construction works on a variety of residential and commercial remodeling projects throughout San Francisco, including kitchens and bathrooms, decks, large additions and new foundations. The company’s employees and subcontractors are detail-oriented, and Ms. Cummins maintains close involvement with all projects to ensure their quality.
Cummins Construction also offers Green building services—it’s a proud member of Bay Area nonprofit Build It Green, and Ms. Cummins received her Green Building Professional Qualification in 2006 and completed the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program in 2008.
