Cornerstone Home Design provides home remodeling products and building materials for clients throughout the Bay Area. The company’s 17,000-square-foot showroom in South San Francisco carries everything from kitchen cabinets and plumbing fixtures to granite countertops and marble tile. It also offers in-house design services to customers who want help creating custom kitchens and bathrooms. “From concept to completion, we can help them select cabinets, countertops, flooring, faucets, drawer pulls and more,” says President Benson Fong. Mr. Fong also explains that since Cornerstone Home Design imports marble and granite and purchases cabinets and fixtures directly from manufacturers, it’s able to offer highly competitive prices.

Cornerstone Home Design takes pride in its pre-fabricated granite countertops, which are cut to size and have their edges finished at the company’s overseas factory. “Many remodeling stores only offer half-inch thick granite, but our granite countertops are three-quarters of an inch thick,” says Mr. Fong. “They come in standard countertop and island sizes to minimize material waste, and their reduced fabrication and material costs ultimately save our customers money.”
