Arnoldo Arevalo is a master at plaster. He began his apprenticeship in 1988 at the age of 17 and worked his way up to foreman for a noted Bay Area company before electing to go into business for himself in 2004. He and his wife Susan-Jane officially incorporated Arevalo Plastering, Inc. in 2006. Arnoldo's Guatemalan influence and Susan-Jane's London, England background bring international flair to the Oakland-based company.
There is more to plastering than meets the eye. While some plaster surfaces are merely utilitarian, others display distinct artistry. Plaster can be applied to create a variety of textures, patterns and dimensional effects. Arnoldo Arevalo makes the effort to match the work to the setting, creating an elegant look and feel that complements the architecture of the room or building. He can also match existing surfaces to correct damage and discoloration caused by water, mold or other issues. Meticulous attention to detail is evident in all of his work.
Arevalo Plastering is known for being prompt, efficient and keeping the work site clean. They use top of the line products and finishes in multi-step processes that ensure a beautiful and durable result. They welcome the opportunity to work with you on your project.
"We bring an artistic flair to the business of plastering, practicing old-world craftsmanship and doing the majority of the work by hand. We care about the quality of the work and never do anything we aren’t proud to put our name on. Most importantly, we care what the customer thinks, and never leave a job until they’re completely happy. ‘We Bring Artistry to Architecture.’”

"His knowledge of plastering and the quality of his work, I have used him for several jobs. He always puts a lot of care into his work."
"They finished when they projected, which was really nice. They did an addition to my house and it didn't seem obvious. It looks like the addition was part of the original house. They were clean, attentive, and great."
