Airport Home Appliance is a Hayward superstore that carries more than 80 brands of faucets, sinks, stoves, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and various other household appliances. The family-owned and operated company’s products range from economy to high-end models, and its sales professionals can help customers choose the right appliances to fit their budgets and arrange for deliveries and installations.
Owner Don Van Eeghen affectionately refers to Airport Home Appliance as a “Mom, Pop and Daughter Shop”—he’s owned and operated the store with his wife, Kate, and his daughter, Kris, for more than 25 years. “We have the largest selection of appliances in the Bay Area, but we’re still a family-owned business,” he says. “We make sure to offer personalized service to every customer.”
Airport Home Appliance is a member of national buying group BrandSource, which means it can purchase inventory at wholesale prices and pass those savings to its customers. “We guarantee significant discounts and low prices,” says Mr. Eeghen. “Plus, we always offer close-outs, one-of-a-kind items, and special events and promotions.”
