Advantage Automotive offers comprehensive repair and maintenance services to owners of domestic and foreign vehicles (including hybrids) in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. The Dublin-based shop can handle brake and suspension work, metal fabrication, factory-scheduled maintenance, engine and transmission repairs, tune-ups and more. It can also pinpoint minor and major electrical problems by using a state-of-the-art computer diagnostic system.

Owner Larry Tirnetta established Advantage Automotive in 2005. He began his career in the automotive industry more than 25 years ago—by the age of 18, he’d already acquired his California Smog License and passed six of eight tests needed to become an ASE Master Technician. Today, Mr. Tirnetta continuously updates his automotive knowledge by attending industry seminars and training to operate cutting-edge repair technology.

Advantage Automotive stresses the importance of communicating effectively with its customers, and its ASE Master Technicians are trained to prioritize repairs in order of importance and safety. “That way,” says Mr. Tirnetta, “our customers can make educated decisions about the repairs they want done immediately and the ones they want to postpone.”
