Acme Auto Repair is a general maintenance and repair shop that serves Contra Costa County car owners at its Concord facility. The family-owned and operated company provides a wide range of services, including factory-specified maintenance, engine and transmission rebuilds and replacements, and smog tests and repairs. It works on all makes and models of foreign and domestic vehicles, including trucks and RVs.

Owners Ken and Shannon Robello took over
operations of Acme Auto Repair from the Kissinger and Mannion families, who founded the company in 1950. An ASE Master Certified mechanic with more than 25 years of industry experience, Mr. Robello says he and his wife are proud to carry on the shop’s family-owned tradition.

Acme Auto Repair believes in directly communicating with its clients—its staff members and mechanics are trained to explain what’s happening with customers’ cars in relatable terms, and they take time to discuss all available repair options. “We don’t rush our customers in and out,” says Mr. Robello. “We educate them so they can make informed decisions.”
