Elder Construction in Pacific Grove is a general contractor serving clients throughout the Monterey Peninsula. Stuart Elder quite literally grew up in the construction business. His initiation into the industry came at the age of 12, when he pushed a broom around job sites at his grandparent’s properties. By sixteen, he’d begun home schooling so that he could enter the construction industry full time. At 18 he was managing jobs, and at the ripe old age of 22 he founded his own business.

Today, Stuart and his crew pride themselves on offering the kind of personalized service that only a small company can give. They focus on one job at a time and are sticklers for detail. Good isn’t good enough; Elder Construction insists the work be exceptional. They’re happy to take the lead, but they also play well with others and will participate with your team of contractors, architects and designers.
