Floors celebrates their 50th anniversary in 2007. For most of those
years—since 1962—Ron Leach has been a part of a flooring
company that has been proud to be of service to the people of Marin.
Co-owner Steve Villa joined the company in 1978.
In recent years, Rafael Floors has won the Pacific Sun’s “Best
of Marin – Carpet Store” five times and is in the Best
of Marin Hall of Fame.
Rafael Floors has a 4000 square foot showroom, which provides ample
opportunities to view a full range of stlyes and colors of
carpet, both wool and synthetic, vinyl, linoleum (a “green”
alternative), hardwood and the newest laminate floors such
as Pergo.
Employees
train to acquire CFS (certified flooring specialists) and CFI (certified
installers) designations to keep them up to date on the latest
trends in product and installation techniques.

"Rafael Floors’ success is due to its profes-sional,
well-trained sales people and its own in-house installation force,
all of whom make it their first priority to take care of the customer.
We are proud that 80% of our business comes from referrals and those
who return to us for their flooring needs. We
like to provide our customers with some special touches, such as
thank you cards, plants and installation anniversary cards that
remind them how long their flooring has endured the test of time.”
