Superior Supplies, Inc. Frequently Asked Questions

(707) 277-1904
40 Ridgeway Avenue
Santa Rosa, CA 95401
Q: How soon can you start my project?
A: "It depends on how busy we are, and the time of year has a lot to do with it. During winter, we can be pretty accommodating if you call the day before. Every now and then we’ll be really busy and may not be able to get to your project right away, but calling two or three days ahead is your best bet to get the schedule you want."
Q: Will you come out and do an estimate on my project?
A: "Yes. A company representative will meet with you and take a look at the conditions of your site to make sure our trucks will have proper access and such."
Q: Can you create custom concrete mixes?
A: "Absolutely. We can do mixes of different strengths or weights depending on your specific needs. For example, if you’re pouring on a second story, we’ll supply you with a lightweight mix. If you want to park a motor home alongside your house, we can design a strong mix for a new driveway."
Q: Can you do custom colors for concrete?
A: "Yes. People often call us and need color samples for their home projects, so we provide flyers that show the different colors that are available. Usually, if we’re asked to create a special color, we get some of the color from the pigment supplier, batch a small amount of concrete and make a little sample for the customer so they can see if it’s what they want."
Q: Do you designate particular hours for delivery?
A: "We’re pretty accommodating as long as you’re willing to pay for it. Delivering at midnight or on a Sunday afternoon costs more, but we’ll do it if that’s what your schedule allows. Our regular customers know that if they need something at 4am, we’ll handle it. We get a lot of first-time customers who want to know our hours, and we usually just ask, ‘When do you need it?’"
Q: How far are you willing to travel for a job?
A: "If the customer is willing to pay for it, we’ll go just about anywhere. We’ve gone to Mill Valley, Hopland, Vallejo, Ukiah—we have a wide radius when it comes to travel."
