Q: Why should I get regular care for my trees?
A: "Having your trees professionally serviced on a regular basis is the best way to ensure their longevity and health. We recommend making annual appointments to achieve the best results."
Q: How much do tree services cost?
A: "Every situation is different, so we like to come out and perform an in-person estimate before quoting a price. There are many variables when it comes to trimming and removal. For instance, is the tree close to a building? Is there a drop zone that’s free of obstructions where we can trim the tree? Can we properly access the tree? Can we get our equipment close to the tree, or will we have to drag the brush 100 yards to get to the trimmer? These major considerations have to be evaluated by our estimator for each situation, and there’s no way we can do that over the phone."
Q: How soon can you give me an estimate?
A: "Typically, we can come out and give you a free estimate within a day or two."
Q: How soon can you take care of my trees?
A: "We do emergency visits when necessary, but we typically like to schedule appointments seven to 10 days in advance, and we recommend planning two weeks out. A lot of clients want the quickest service available, and we try to schedule visits as soon as possible, but we usually can’t schedule jobs for the next day. The tree service industry does have slow seasons and busy seasons, so it may be easier to get an appointment at some times rather than others. For instance, fall tends to be our busiest time, but Christmastime and early January tend to be very slow, so you may be able to get a job scheduled in just a few days during that time."
Q: Will I get a live person when I call your office?
A: "We answer the phone in person as often as possible. We want our customers to get a real, human voice on the other end of the line instead of voicemail. If we’re unable to pick up the phone during office hours, we’ll call back within the hour. If you call and leave a message outside of office hours, we’ll call you back as soon as we get into the office the next morning."
Q: What if I can’t afford all the care my trees need?
A: "If your budget doesn’t allow you to do everything at once, we’ll give you a prioritized list of things that should be done now and things that can wait until next year. Many of our clients opt for this, especially those with new homes or trees that have been neglected. We can also come out annually or semi-annually and do a little work at a time, along with fertilization, aeration and thinning if the trees are growing too close together."
Q: When is the best time of year for routine tree maintenance?
A: "That depends on the type of trees you have and what you want done. We can help you decide the best time to service your trees."
Q: Is your company woman-owned and operated?
A: "Yes. We’re 100 percent woman-owned, but we definitely hire men, too. Most of the people in this industry are men, but we hire the person who’s best qualified for the job. We don’t look at whether they’re male or female."
Q: Do you offer senior discounts?
A: "Yes, we give a 10 percent discount to anyone over 60 years old. We also provide a 10 percent discount to honorably discharged, service-connected disabled veterans."
