Q: How long will my repair take?
A: "It depends on the type of repair, of course. If you can get your car to us in a timely manner in the morning, we can inspect it, diagnose it, call you with an estimate and hopefully return it to you the same day. Sometimes dealer parts are harder to get, and we might have to keep it overnight. In that case, we’d be sure to make you aware of it ahead of time."
Q: Why are dealer parts hard to get?
A: "The dealers don’t always have them in stock, which means they have to order them from their warehouse. But with our connections with local dealerships—and we even deal with ones in Berkeley and Fremont that deliver to us every day—we can usually get any parts by the next day."
Q: Do you have the latest equipment?
A: "Yes, and we’re constantly updating our electronics and equipment to keep up with the product lines we serve. In fact, we just spent another $42,000 on a piece of equipment that helps diagnose and download information into the newest computers on the BMW and Mercedes Benz cars."
Q: Do you have a loaner car?
A: "Yes, we have a loaner car available, but we need advance notification if you’d like to use it so we can make arrangements to have it available."
Q: Do you provide pick-up and drop-off?
A: "Unfortunately, we don’t have the facilities or manpower for that."
Q: Do you ever offer any specials or incentives?
A: "There are times when we’ll send out a $10 or $20 coupon to our existing customers. But mostly, we just do our best to keep our everyday prices as low as possible."
Q: What about insurance work?
A: "We’ll work with insurance companies. If you have an extended warranty or insurance type of repair, we’re willing to work with your company. Sometimes that can add extra time to the repair because it takes time to contact the insurance company, but we’re willing to do that for our customers."
