Michael VerBrugge Construction, Inc. Frequently Asked Questions

(925) 631-1055 Office

Michael VerBrugge founded his company in 1993.
Q: Are you (Michael Ver Brugge) personally on the job all the time?
A: "I’m on the job every day. I don’t always work all day, but my foreman is there if there’s work to be done. I never take on any work that will diminish my service capabilities. I only do one or two projects simultaneously, and then I move on."
Q: What are your service capabilities?
A: "We like our clients to feel comfortable with us, and our employees know how to treat a property with respect. We listen to clients’ needs rather than telling them what they need. Keeping our word, from the first meeting to the final cleanup, is an important part of our service commitment."
Q: Are there ever any safety issues with your work?
A: "We want every client to feel comfortable and safe with our crews and subcontractors. Our trusted employees have been with us for many years, and we also have complete confidence in our subcontractors."
Q: How do you handle demolition? Do you leave a worksite clean when you leave?
A: "We always leave residences safe and secure; we never leave junk piles. We always leave a house with working utilities, unless there’s an unforeseen delay. We put up zip curtains to provide dust protection and ask clients to secure the premises for the safety of animals and children."
Q: How much of the work do your subcontractors handle?
A: "We do about 80 percent of the work with our full-time crew. All our subcontractors are people we’ve worked with before and with whom we have long-term business relationships."
