Q: How long will my construction project take to complete?
A: "That depends on the job. We’ll provide an estimated end date when we start work, and we’re onsite every day until the job is done."
Q: Do you operate a clean worksite?
A: "Yes. We use floor protectors and put up plastic sheets for dust containment. We even have a line item in the contract that includes jobsite setup, cleanup and portable facilities. We allocate 30 minutes each day for cleanup and take that into account in the bid."
Q: Have you ever had an issue with security on a jobsite?
A: "No. Our employees and subcontractors have worked for us for so long that we know their characters. We’re also conscious of securing jobsites against intrusion by outsiders."
Q: I’m an electrician. Can I work with you on my project to reduce the cost?
A: "Absolutely. We’re happy to work alongside our clients, as long as they’re qualified. Sometimes lesser skilled, free labor can actually increase the cost of a project."
Q: How do I know you’re not marking up your credit allowances?
A: "Our paperwork is completely open and transparent. We’ll show you receipts for what we purchased, including our contractor’s discount. When we purchase materials, we charge you exactly what we paid for them. A lot of contractors don’t do this, but with us, nothing is private."
Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: "We offer a four-year warranty on our workmanship and manufacturers’ warranties on the materials we use."
Q: Do you provide references?
A: "Absolutely. We have a list of 50 clients who are willing to talk with you and have you visit to see the quality of our work. It’s a lot to ask of people after we’ve been in their homes for months, but they’re so happy with the work that they like to show it off. Our clients are wonderful."
