Q: Do you have experience with my particular type of project?
A: "Most likely. Over the years, we’ve accumulated experience in almost every conceivable aspect of home construction, including windows, additions, foundations and waterproofing. Also, we have the ability to work with both modern and traditional designs."
Q: Do you provide design work?
A: "No. We’re builders, not architects or designers. While we’ve worked on many different types of projects, we believe that sticking to a clearly defined role allows us to focus on craftsmanship and deliver products of the highest quality. Also, this approach often provides a cost advantage, because the back and forth communication between the client, independent contractor and designer can result in money-saving ideas. That’s lost when the contractor and designer is the same person."
Q: Can I schedule a meeting at night or on a weekend?
A: "We’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule, but we’re far more productive during regular working hours."
Q: Are you cost competitive?
A: "Absolutely. We’ll compete with any other contracting firm that delivers work of similar quality. Also, it’s important to remember that the chief driver of cost on every construction project is the client’s design and material choices. The best way to save money is to take a hard look at what you want built and the materials you want to use, and then make cost-efficient choices."
Q: Do you work on jobs of all sizes?
A: "Yes. We’ve done new construction on $10 million homes, but we’ve also been called to install individual windows."
