Q: Do you have a showroom?
A: "Yes, our showroom is located at 6037 Christie Avenue in Emeryville and is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also make an appointment."
Q: How much time will it take to complete my project?
A: "It depends on what the project is. It could be two weeks, it could be four to six weeks, and if there are back orders on the materials, it could take even longer. Everything we do is custom made and takes time to create."
Q: Can’t I do some of this work on my own?
A: "Some things are easy, like hanging drapes, but I wouldn’t recommend installing shutters, for instance, or even taking measurements. I know some things seem basic, and I can probably talk someone through if they’re trying to save money, but most interior design projects need to be done by a professional so they function properly."
Q: I’m thinking of redoing my bedroom. Why should I choose a custom-design company over a large department store?
A: "Unlike department stores and specialty stores, the possibilities are endless with custom-designed bedroom treatments. Not only will dust ruffles and bedspreads fit four-poster beds and pillow top mattresses, but you’ll be able to create a unique style in any colors or patterns you want. We’ll help you coordinate unique bed coverings with your window treatments to create an inviting look that’s yours alone."

A: "Reupholstering an older piece of furniture can give it a new life, with fresh fabric and new springs to reflect your updated style. We can repair the insides and, sometimes, even modify the style."
