A: "I’ve been in the industry for 20 years, and Cypress Video Surveillance has been in business since 1992."
Q: Is the longevity of your business important?
A: "Yes. Surveillance is a big step, but often, people don’t make a decision on the spot—they may sit on it for a year or so. If you call us back when you’re ready, we’ll still be here. With a lot of the other companies, you’ll call them six months down the road and they’re doing something else."
Q: What kind of models do you sell?
A: "We’re not tied to a particular model or brand, and that’s our strong suit. We test all the recorders and cameras on the market and try to match them with the requirements and budget of our customers."
Q: Can you match prices?
A: "Yes, if you’re comparing like with like—in other words, professional-grade equipment, which is our specialty. Most retail outlets sell amateur-grade equipment, like the products people use to keep an eye on kids or the nanny. But if you want to protect your property, those systems aren’t up to par."
Q: How long does installation take?
A: "For home installation, normally one full day. For commercial projects, it can take days or weeks."
Q: How are your after-sale services?
A: "People usually pay a lot for after-sale services. Often, with a big company like ADT, most of the calls cost extra because they aren’t covered by warranty. Our warranty is one year for on-site parts and labor. Just call us and we’ll take care of it. Sometimes, we can even support customers online."
