Q: How fast is your response time for emergencies?
A: "For lockouts, we try to have someone on location within 30 minutes of the initial call. We treat emergencies seriously, but our response time depends on the location of our trucks when the call comes in."
Q: Can you change the combination or replace the lock on my safe?
A: "We can change the combination, but replacing the lock is dependent on the type of safe you have. If it’s a small safe, you can bring it in and we’ll service it in our shop, which saves you the cost of a service call. If it’s a big safe, we can come to your location."
Q: Do you handle automotive lockouts?
A: "Yes. We just need to know the make, model and year of the car so we know what specific tools to use."
Q: Do you also install and maintain automatic door openers and closers?
A: "Yes. We install ADA-compliant door openers/closers every week—we run the wiring, put in the operators, install the buttons and set up the remote controls."
Q: What’s the difference between a re-key and a lock change?
A: "A re-key is where you retain the same lock and reset the pins so the old key won’t work anymore. Many people don’t know that’s possible, but it’s actually a lot less expensive than swapping out the entire old lock for a new one."
