A: "Yes, we’ll obtain all necessary building permits for you."
Q: Do you haul away the old roofing materials and waste?
A: "Absolutely. That’s included in our project bid."
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: "Not usually, given that most of our customers are repeats or referrals from past customers. Occasionally we’ll ask for a deposit, which is limited to 10 percent (but not to exceed $1,000) by California law."
Q: Do you use subcontractors?
A: "Not for roofing. All our roofers are long-term employees. Sometimes we use subcontractors for jobs related to roofing projects, like gutters."
Q: Do you provide any warranties?
A: "We provide a 10-year warranty on workmanship. Warranties on materials depend on the products, but they’re usually 15 years or longer. We’ve been around for more than 25 years, so we’re confident in our ability to support that warranty period."
Q: Can you provide customer references?
A: "Yes. We’ll provide a list of references with our bid."
Q: Do you offer free estimates?
A: "Yes, that’s a standard practice in this industry."
