Cornerstone Home Design can provide all the materials necessary for a kitchen remodel.
Q: Are your prices competitive?
A: "Yes. We’re able to offer everything from cabinets to countertops to fixtures, which means we can pass on our volume discounts to our customers."
Q: Do you provide design services?
A: "Yes, we have exceptional designers who will work closely with you throughout your project and create designs based on your exact specifications."
Q: What should I bring with me for my first design consultation?
A: "Bring the measurements of your existing kitchen and make sure they specify the locations of doors, windows, appliances and wall cut-outs. You should also provide us with any special requirements, features or concerns so we can address those issues during the design process."
Q: Do you install the products you sell?
A: "No, we’re a ‘materials only’ company. However, we work with many installers and fabricators on a day-to-day basis and would be happy to refer you to one of them."
Q: Can I choose the specific pieces of granite to be used in my countertops?
A: "Yes. Since each piece of stone is unique, we invite you to visit our warehouse and select the pieces you want to use for your countertop project."
Q: How much do you charge for prefabricated granite countertops?
A: "Depending on the type and quality of the granite, our prefabricated granite countertops range from as little as $89 per piece (about $5 per square foot) to as high as $495 per piece (about $22 per square foot) for more exotic colors. Availability, color and country of origin are major factors that affect the price of granite."
Q: What’s the difference between cast stone and natural stone?
A: "Cast stone is comprised of finely ground stone that’s mixed with resins or cement-based products, then poured into a mold to create either a slab of cast stone or a sink, mantel and so forth. Natural stone is strictly cut from the earth, then cut and polished in its natural form."
