Q: Will I be able to talk to a real person when I call your office?
A: "Yes, we have a full-time office staff to handle calls and customer inquiries. That’s unusual in this business, but we feel it’s essential for providing high-quality service."
Q: Do you provide 24-hour emergency service?
A: "Yes. After normal business hours, all calls go to a cell phone, so someone is always available to respond. When bad weather comes in, we keep crews on standby so we can respond quickly."
Q: Do you offer same-day service?
A: "Emergency work is done immediately. For non-emergency work, we’ll usually have someone there within 48 hours."
Q: Do you handle tree diseases and pests?
A: "Yes. We’ll do what we can to save diseased trees and remove and replace them if we can’t."
Q: What kinds of diseases kill trees?
A: "Diseases come in waves, so it varies. Years ago, Dutch Elm disease was the big problem. Right now, it’s sudden oak death and the pine beetle that affects Monterey Pines."
