Q: How much advance notice do I need to give when I’m planning a move?
A: "Good moving companies book up ahead of time, so you’ll probably be out of luck if you call the day of or the day before you move. It’s best if you can give your moving company time to plan the move, schedule permits if needed, arrange storage or moving materials, and deliver them in a timely fashion. We like to have a 30-day notice, but two or three months is even better. It’s much less hectic for the customers when they have their moving plans settled ahead of time, since many of them feel rushed during the process. Ideally, you should call your moving company as soon as you know you’re going to move and set up a date."
Q: Do you sell moving boxes and packing materials?
A: "Yes. We also offer ZippGo reusable moving bins to customers who want a Green alternative to traditional moving boxes."
Q: Can you help me with a small move?
A: "Absolutely. We have a two-man, two-hour minimum for jobs. Call us with the details of your move and we can set up an appointment for a free estimate to discuss your specific needs."
Q: Do you offer storage?
A: "Yes, we offer clean, safe vault storage. We also provide storage for household items during moves, construction projects and remodels, as well as storage solutions for office and household items."
Q: Do you offer out-of-state or international moves?
A: "We only offer ground moves within the state of California, but we can provide container shipping to Hawaii, Europe and the Pacific Rim."
Q: What are your moving rates?
A: "Our moving rates are simple: We charge a flat rate per hour based on the number of movers needed for the job. That keeps it simple for our customers and lets them know their costs upfront. Remember, the more prepared you are, the lower your moving costs will be. If your belongings are completely packed when we come, the move will go quicker and there won’t be any down time for the movers, which allows us to be more efficient and give you the best end result."
