Doctor James R. Mattingly earned his degree from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in 1997, graduating with honors. Dr. Mattingly received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. His private dental practice is located in Walnut Creek. Dr. Mattingly offers the latest in dental procedures and technology while providing a comfortable and friendly setting for his patients.
Dr. Mattingly's office provides a wide range of restorative dental services, including white toothcolored fillings, porcelain crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, implants and dentures. Cosmetic dentistry is another of his areas of expertise, including porcelain veneers, metal-free fillings and tooth whitening. State-of-the-art digital imaging replaces traditional x-rays which saves the patient up to 80% of the usual radiation exposure. Plus, digital images can be viewed immediately on a large computer monitor by both doctor and patient. Dr. Mattingly also provides nitrous oxide gas as a complementary service to any patient who feels a little anxious or nervous. His office accepts most private dental insurances and his staff is happy to file the claim on the patient's behalf.
