Owner Dan Ross has more than 40 years’ experience painting Bay Area homes and commercial establishments. Ross Painting tries to keep the same crews from job to job, “so they’re familiar with each other and work efficiently,” says Mr. Ross. Each job is supervised by an experienced foreman who’s onsite at all times, and an experienced painter serves as a driver so the foreman doesn’t have to leave to visit the paint store. The company’s field supervisor, Chris Brown, moves from site to site and makes sure work is being done correctly. “If not, he intervenes and gets the project back on track,” says Mr. Ross. “Between the foreman, the supervisor and me, our customers always have someone to contact for an immediate response.”
