Paul Vacakis, owner of German auto repair facility Germany’s Best, Inc., says the professionals at his company enjoy what they do, and it shows in the quality of service they consistently provide for customers. “We’re very friendly and professional, and that translates to a lot of referral clientele and return business.”
Germany’s Best prefers to put customers in control of the repair process. The company’s first step is to provide a description of a car’s symptoms so its technicians have a good starting point from which to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem. “At that point,” says Mr. Vacakis, “we call the customer with the findings, give them our recommendations and get their approval for the repair procedure. We typically estimate a completion time and stay in touch with the customer. When the job is finished, we call them with the results.”
While some repairs are more involved, many are regular service procedures or typical complaints. “Because we specialize in German vehicles, it helps us to not only diagnose accurately and efficiently but also to forecast completion times with consistency,” says Mr. Vacakis.
Germany’s Best’s repair technicians are all ASE-certified or dealer-trained and have an average of 20 years’ experience in the industry. Mr. Vacakis says they’re meticulous professionals who use only the highest quality parts and up-to-date equipment. “Customers often ask me why it took them so long to find us. They also compliment us on the amount of information we provide about their vehicles.”
Mr. Vacakis says customers appreciate the opportunity to be included in decisions about their cars, which sometimes have issues they were never aware of before bringing them to be repaired.
