Elite Auto Body & Collision Center Comparative Summary

Elite Auto Body & Collision Center is a Concord-based repair shop that’s been serving Contra Costa County motorists since 2000. Owners Charlie DeVincenzi, Sr. and Charlie DeVincenzi, Jr. have more than 45 years of combined auto body repair experience. “Either my dad or I work on every vehicle that comes through our doors,” says Mr. DeVincenzi, Jr. “He has 25 years’ experience as an auto body technician, and I have 20 years’ experience in refinishing and color matching. Between us, we know exactly what it takes to return a vehicle to its factory condition.”

Elite Auto Body & Collision Center provides a full range of repair services and can even help customers file insurance claims and offer advice on how to care for their newly painted vehicles. “We deal with insurance companies, arrange for rental cars and basically make the process as painless as possible for our customers,” says Mr. DeVincenzi, Jr. “They bring in their cars and we take care of the rest.”

All of Elite Auto Body & Collision Center’s technicians are I-CAR trained and certified. “Car technology is constantly changing,” says Mr. DeVincenzi, Jr. “New vehicles have special frames and different parts. If we don’t keep current with I-CAR, we can’t repair vehicles to their manufacturers’ specifications.” The company is also a certified body shop for General Motors, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Lexus, and Infinity.

Elite Auto Body & Collision Center uses only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. “Aftermarket parts are often manufactured less expensively and with less rigorous quality control,” says Mr. DeVincenzi, Jr. “As a result, they often don’t fit quite right or last as long. That’s why we exclusively use OEM parts.”
