Since opening its doors in 1991, Bryant Auto Body has held firm to its commitment that every car be restored “to pre-accident condition quickly and for a fair and honest price," says founder Ian Shin.
That means treating every car “like it’s our own,” he says. He and his technicians patiently explain to customers precisely what needs to be done to their vehicle. Mr. Shin can point out money-saving alternatives with pros and cons—the option of using aftermarket parts when appropriate, for example—and offer honest recommendations.
“Whatever the customer wants, I work with it,” says Mr. Shin. “Sometimes you go to different body shops and they say, ‘This is the only way, this is the right way to do it.’ But not us. We work with you.”
In fact, says Mr. Shin, most customers who enter the shop are already familiar with the company and its work, since friends and neighbors have referred them.
The company is meticulous in its approach to auto body repair, he says, refusing to cut corners or compromise quality. As an example, Mr. Shin points out that most refinished bumpers are lined with cracks and peeling paint. That’s because many body shops apply the same paint treatment to bumpers as they do to the rest of the car, creating a rigid finish that can’t withstand impact. By contrast, Bryant Auto Body uses a special “adhesion promoter” that lets the finish remain flexible and thereby absorb a minor impact without cracking or peeling.
Bryant Auto Body technicians are I-CAR trained and ASE Certified. The company’s advanced generation refinishing tools include a high-tech preparation booth and a refinishing/baking paint booth by BlowTherm, a world leader in the industry. It’s the same technology used by car manufacturers, resulting in flawless paint finishing while minimizing environmental pollutants.
The company also fixes windshield glass and offers paintless dent repair. You can also get Clear Bumper stripes (a clear, protective skin) for your bumpers, doors, hoods, fenders or any other car part.
