Bonny Weil believes experience, craftsmanship and a love of remodeling makes her company, Bonny Weil General Contractor, stand out in the industry. “I’ve worked on a lot of different types of residential and commercial buildings that include a wide range of architectural diversity, from Ranch homes in Walnut Creek to Craftsman homes in Berkeley and Oakland to Victorians in San Francisco.”
Ms. Weil says attention to detail is another hallmark of her work. “I enjoy working through the final details with clients that often become the highlights of the project. I enjoy having interesting problems to conquer and coming up with creative solutions and options.”
Ms. Weil is personally involved in every project, from start to finish. Every job gets her personal attention. “I’m continually checking in on what’s happening, and I’m always available to answer questions or discuss the project with my clients.”
Ms. Weil has received awards from the Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association for her work on the Henry C. Reid House (originally built in 1927) and from the California Redwood Association for a 2008 for the best deck project in the East Bay Area. Her work has been featured in Philip Wenz’s book, Adding to a House, and in Diablo magazine.
